Solinas Technologies is developing a new approach to this age-old problem, one that can dramatically improve how plastic pipe is dealt with. Our first product for plastic locating, the SonicFinder1000, promises to be a true game changer.
The handheld Sonicfinder 1000 plastic pipe locator utilizes advanced patented acoustic sensing to rapidly locate buried plastic services. A large LCD display and a bright LED bar gauge provide immediate feedback to the operator when scanning the terrain.
Power is provided through removable standard equipment batteries, allowing for quick field change and extended work days. All of this is realized without the need to access the interior of the pipe asset.
The device is supplied in a robust carry case along with two Makita rechargeable batteries.
